I fished on Lake Minnetonka for the opener with my brother Pete. We started fishing for Walleyes at about 6:30 pm and fished till 9 pm. We got five Walleyes , four Bass and two Northerns. Not bad for the first time in two and half hours of fishing. Tonight I am going to do the same thing at the same time. I am ready for some guides. Let the phone ring I am on Walleyes right now.

I fished the Crappie Tournament on Lake Minnnetonka yesterday. It was a fun time. I caught alot of Crappies. I fished my friends hot spot where he caught to tournament winner. Congrats to Trevor Baer the new Lake Minnetonka Champ.

The water is open and has been for awhile.  Crappies and sunnies are biting well. With stable temps this week the male crappies should stay in the shallows. Still waiting for the big females to arrive. It shouldn’t be long. See ya on the water.
